Many people have asked me if Levels To My Insanity is an autobiography or depiction of my life. I have always answered no. However, that is not entirely true in all aspects. Levels has some truths to it. It has some reflections within it.
Fictional writing creation comes in many forms.
Levels To My Insanity is an overly embellished tale of life experiences through my own eyes and the eyes of others. Not all are eyes that have been close or near to me. All have been eyes that have seen trauma, yet disregarded or displaced that trauma.
The story started off as a psychological look into the mind of a traumatized woman. It was to be through her eyes that you would see the world and how it would affect her. It had always been a complicated and intense interpretation of trauma, but I decided to up the levels and show even more background into her trauma.
I can tell you that this story is not an easy one to read. It involves deep pain and loss of self. It involves desperation, loneliness, anger, and sadness. You will definitely need to take your time and analyze the depths of the story.
There are many people we pass in our journey through and never know what they are battling within the confines of their mind. Levels To My Insanity is the tale of hidden things. It is a tale of burying of more than just living bodies, but of pain, emotion, feelings, and truths. It is about hiding from reality behind walls built so high not many are willing to climb over them. Walls so thick not many willing to attempt penetration of them.
This story is about revealing layers of darkness that no one even knew had piled up. You may know someone and judged them wrongly because of how they moved through this world. Not knowing that the world around them only existed by a string of hope.
I wrote Levels to show you how deep pain can affect you mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
